The Sage Book Collection

Alcohol marker and pen. In progress.

Truthfully, I found out pretty quickly that this particular notebook was not well suited for alcohol markers- they bleed through the pages and leave behind a wet texture. Paper weight wasn’t something I considered previously when buying notebooks for drawing, but now I know that 80 g/qm does NOT do the trick. If you can’t tell already, I’ve wasted quite a bit of time and money on things that a single art class probably would have warned me about. But the ability to learn and grow from my mistakes has been invaluable, so maybe nothing is ever a waste.

Anyways, don’t worry about the fate of this particular notebook. It’s currently my sketchbook for rough drafts and tattoo ideas I’ll likely never actually get done.
